As the General Manager of a local coffeehouse in the town of Mammoth Lakes, I was responsible for all aspects of running a small business. I was responsible for mediating a staff of 8-10 people and managed staffing issues. I was responsible for inventory/purchasing, scheduling of staff, and customer relations. As an Account Manager, I worked specifically as a recruiter for college students and recent graduates. I helped this candidate pool find jobs, as well as provided local companies with a refined recruiting network. I created job descriptions, recruited candidates, conducted screening and interviews, negotiated offers, and various other processes of recruiting process. I managed a client list of approximately 150 local employers. I built that list through referrals, company leads, and business-to-business sales.
