Haven is a non-profit 501c3 organization providing hospice programs and services to individuals and families throughout 18 counties in north and central Florida. As the Development Coordinator, my role was to increase awareness for the organization, events and causes by creating sponsorship letters, e-newsletters, mailers, social media posts and more. I coordinated the logistics and budget of, as well as supervised, a diverse set of community events to promote raising money, including outdoor dinners, golf tournaments, Topgolf fundraisers and equine events. To ensure the success of Haven events, I collaborated with market administrators, Community Advisory Board members, potential sponsors, in-kind donors and volunteers.

As a Field Development manager, I was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with constituents, generating revenue and raising awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders through Autism Speaks signature Walk Now for Autism Speaks events in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. I facilitated relationships with constituents through regular communication and networking. I handled online communication operations such as digital newsletters, website content and social media pages. I drove efficiency in market management by conceptualizing and developing processes and forms for more effective projects. And, I provided aid, training and development to regional staff and volunteers by heading the recruitment and guidance procedures.

During my time with United Way I helped build and maintain relationships with key constituents. I trained agency directors, managed volunteers, worked closely with vendors, assisted with management of interns, etc. I was the liaison and administrative support to various departments including campaign, finance, and IT. And, I worked closely with the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation to manage volunteers for its Honor Rows Program.I participated in brainstorming and development of marketing materials, maintained social media sites, was responsible for check request and managing department requisitions and files, as well as managed multiple staff schedules, travel documents, and traffic management calendar.
