About Laurie Richards

I've had a passion for music my entire life, especially playing the piano. While I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and then worked as an Accountant, I later discovered that I *love* to teach piano. That led me to discovering the Simply Music program, which altered my life's trajectory. It resonated strongly with me as a means of teaching musical expression and became my passion. I grew my teaching studio fairly quickly and operated a large studio employing other Simply Music teachers. In the years since, I've become part of the Simply Music organization's team, supporting teachers, developing programs and curricula, and working closely with Neil Moore, Founder & Creator of Simply Music. I now enjoy a smaller teaching studio of online students, continuing my work with the organization, with my larger focus now being in the coaching realm. I'm blessed to wake up every day with the privilege of living my passion, on my own terms. . . my ideal situation!
