To assist in the registration of building users.To patrol the Eldon Building extended open access areas in accordance with apredetermined route and to meet periodically with the Faculty Technical Managers whenrequired.To undertake basic information gathering from building users during the extended openinghours period such as what students are using and which course they are on.To ensure that open access areas/studios are kept tidy keeping a log of any issues which mayarise and reporting these at the end of evening in the Day Book.To liaise with Estates staff and Security where appropriate.Assist with other events providing information to students and visitors.To communicate with team members and liaise and network with relevant others, toensure effective working relationsTo solve basic problems that occur applying knowledge of the buildingTo comply with the University's Health and Safety Policy and pay due care to own safety andthe safety of others. - Deliver of first aid to the public at community and commercial events as volunteer- Ensure the equipment being used is fit for purpose, used correctly and is clean- Report defects to equipment and other operational issues asap- Undertake training for role and keep up to date as needed- maintain patient confidentiality, health and safety at all times- Represent SJA in a professional manner and follow all appropriate policies and procedures
