I am responsible for overseeing all Scaffolding on this Project. I provide leadership & mentoring to the scaffold work force, and actively monitor work practices, ensuring adherence to OH&S policies & procedures. I am responsible for performance monitoring and management as per organisational protocol, and I conduct toolbox talks, weekly inspections and risk assessments. Communication is also central to my current role. I communicate with the client representatives on the progress of the project, and work to resolve any issues. It is my responsibility to plan and Coordinate work to meet the project’s requirements and develop work packs and promote productivity I oversee all scaffold designs for complex hard to access work areas, Implement scaffold procedures and work method statements. I Prepare job estimates, manage and supply labor, supervision and materials for various areas while ensuring compliance to all Occupational Health and Safety Management policies. I attend daily meetings with other superintendents, and coordinate schedules, time frames with Supervisors and any interface issues which may arise.
