Assisted in the planning and operation of streaming events for local arts and community organizations including virtual editions of Wharton Studio Museum’s 2020 Silents Roar Film Festival, Friends of Stewart Park’s Party for the Park fundraiser, The Sophie Fund’s 4th Annual Ithaca Cupcake Baking Contest, and the annual Spring Writes festival as well as recurring first Friday art openings for Ithaca’s Community Arts Partnership. Presented a combination of live and pre-recorded content via platforms including Youtube Live, Facebook Live, and Zoom.

Theatrical lighting design for Civic Ensemble, House of Ithaqua, Walking on Water Productions, among other local groups. Attended rehearsals and production meetings and worked with directors and stage crews and other designers to contribute to artistic vision of the show, creating cue lists, designing and implementing light plots, programming a fully realized set of lighting cues, and guiding stage management to ensure that cues are used correctly during each performance. Overhire technician work for the Kitchen and Hangar Theaters.

I co-created and stage manage Flame Night Fever, a monthly live online drag and burlesque show. Coordination of live Zoom events and broadcasts on Twitch and Facebook Live, combining live hosting and performances through Zoom or similar video technology with prerecorded video segments as well as an interactive post-show dance party. Live video mixing and graphic overlays using Open Broadcaster Software. Production of promotional videos and video material for shows.

Designed and adapted light plot for seasonal nightclub event at the Cherry Artspace, programmed and implemented lighting in real time for performances and to spotlight featured dancers throughout space, curated 2-3 hours of themed video projection material for each event.

Coordinated space scheduling, rentals, and reservations throughout the CSMA building, conducted tours of the space for potential renters, created and negotiated rental contracts. Worked collaboratively with the director of CSMA, Robin Tropper-Herbel, to create a revamped rental rate system, policies for more effective operation and greater oversight. Created formal rental documents including packet of rental guidelines, complete technical inventory and specifications of theater space. Compiled annual rental and attendance statistics for grant funding. Was responsible for day-to-day maintenance of space and sound and lighting systems and equipment as well as setup and teardown for rental events including weddings, private parties, and public events organized by organizations including Qinfolk Festival, Opera Ithaca, Ithaca City of Asylum, Running to Places Theatre Company, and Bread and Puppet Theatre Company.

During my time in Franklin, duties included day-to-day upkeep of the theater building, operation of box office, stage management for multiple productions, lighting design, electrical maintenance, and publicity.
