About Leandro Fefer

Writer, Educator, CommunicatorSkier, climber, surfer During my undergraduate, I focused my education on journalism. I researched, wrote, and published more than 70 pieces of original reporting. During this time, I also found a deep love for more creative mediums like screenwriting and fiction. In 2017 I went to grad school at UCI for my MFA in Fiction. I love words, I love storytelling, I love playing with language! During these years I worked as a college instructor, teaching courses in persuasive writing, journalism, and fiction.Naturally, my passion for the written word and good storytelling has led me into the world of copywriting. My educational experiences as a journalist, screenwriter, and fiction writer have all transferred and combined with my professional experiences as an educator, editor, and reporter to make me a well-rounded and multifaceted communicator. Outside of my professional writing career, I have stayed busy as a bartender, world traveler, and avid outdoorsman. When I'm not working on a freelance writing project or pouring my heart into a page of creative prose, you can find me experimenting behind the bar at one of the local restaurants in Seattle, trying to build the perfect cocktail that will blow away an adventurous guest. Or, just as likely, I'm hanging off the side of a cliff, flying down a snowy mountain on two narrow wood slats, or attempting to stand on top of a moving wave in the pacific ocean.In all my adventures, as well as in my career, I believe in the power of solid and clear communication. I believe in taking risks after fully considering and mitigating their level of danger, and I believe in having a good time while we do it all!
