At Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, my mission aligns seamlessly with the organization's goals to educate and inspire stewardship for the natural world. My role allows me to apply my skills in hospitality and job training to foster connections between diverse groups and our conservation efforts.As Director, I've led the development of strategic plans for multiple departments, ensuring a collaborative approach that enhances the Zoo experience for guests and supports our mission. I manage a dynamic team and over 500 volunteers, emphasizing clear communication and positive change to drive engagement. My focus on safety, education, and community engagement has been pivotal in promoting the Zoo's initiatives and enhancing visitor interactions.
