After many years working for my previous employer, I decided it was time to move on.In this new role I was responsible for call handling, delivering a first class customer service, resolving as many calls on first contact, responding to emails & as part of my targets obtaining customer surveys. Over time I grew more knowledgeable & shortly within a few months I was supporting new hirer’s fresh out of training.

Shortly within a year of starting my initial role as a customer service advisor, I applied for the secondment position of senior customer service advisor. At the end of the secondment, I had the opportunity to apply for the position to which I was successful. In my current role, I am responsible for ensuring performance levels are met whilst supporting my manager & the other team leaders. As well as managing my team, I am responsible for taking calls during spiked periods, handling escalated matters & more complex calls, running excel reports, coaching, responding to feedback received from customers, case handling & re-routing & supporting staff. I work closely with our customer service training & often assist in the delivery of training within the organisation.

I moved on from being a claims handler & started my new position within the company as a call centre operative. My duties involved answering calls, raising vehicle repairs, data reports, hiring replacement vehicles to match the needs of our customers & responding to emails. It was within this role which my work ethic was noticed & after successful interview I was promoted to supervisor. My new role now included supporting the manager with managing the call centre of around 10-15 members of staff. I was responsible for the out of hours calls, handling escalated matters, delivering coaching, participating in 1-1s, interviews & contract terminations.

I started the company as a claims handler which my duties involved in answering calls from insurance companies, solicitors, & third party representatives. I was responsible for responding to letters, emails, & making outbound calls in the attempt to recover uninsured loss on behalf of our clients. I built a trusting & understanding relationship with my customers.
