To research and apply for project funding, as well as programme development to address key issues affecting LGBTQ+ identifying young people today. To coordinate and provide one-to-one support services to young people and their families through referral or direct service engagement.To meet targets set out by funders, stakeholders and line manager to a high standard. To keep abreast of issues affecting young people today, and readily adapt services to address the needs presenting.To design resources to be used by youth workers across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom to effectively challenge homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in their respective youth settings, as well as to raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ community. To manage national projects, activities and residentials involving young people in wider social action and anti-oppressive projects to empower them to create changes in society.To represent LGBTQ+ young people on a national stage, attending conferences and advocating on behalf of the rights of these young people.
