During my time at Stride Treglown I have been championing the use of Revit, Dynamo, Visualisation tools such as Enscape & Lumion and developing design ideas in a number of bids to win work across the Education sector and the Technology and Innovation sector. Researching new and evolving technologies has always fascinated me and discovering how we, as designers, may integrate the evolution of AI, generative design and the plethora of softwares and cloud based applications into my professional life. Through actively engaging in new presentation techniques during my Masters degree in 2016 I won the Chapman Taylor award for Best Representation/Graphic prize for my Final Year Project. This included research into 3D printing, visualisation of sound, rendering techniques and graphics.In 2024 I became Senior Associate Architect leading multiple projects across all workstages and being an active engaged member of the wider Stride Treglown team.I led the design of the competitive bid for the Offsite Schools Framework and has been successful in winning Lot 1, intended for the delivery of offsite built secondary schools, GIFA above 6,000m² throughout England. The Modern Methods of Construction production commenced in 2020 and follows previous frameworks let by the DfE.One of my proudest achievements to date is being an integral part of the team for a £33m Health and Life Sciences building at the University of Reading. I helped secure planning permission and continued to assist the Project Architect into RIBA Stage 4, as well as designing and preparing technical information taking the project onto site. The 7,500m² project forms the foundation for growth in Health and Life Science research and stature and completed in 2021. As a BIM level 2 project, I led the delivery architectural BIM information including COBie 6 delivery to Level of Detail 6, coordinating across the design teams.
