Building & assembling the 18.75" 10,000psi NOV shaffer spherical BOP, ready for operations, fitting & inspections on the ram blocks and cavities.Stripping the NOV 14-P-220 mud pumps and pump components on the fluid end for inspection and replace where necessary. Fluid transfers from pit to pit, gaining knowledge of the mud/mix pumps limitations and introduced an easy to follow Ulux chart for pit volume control. Employed by Stena Drilling on the Don a semi-submersible drilling/workover rig in the North Sea.
