Railway Sales Project Supply Management, Transport & fleet Management, Procurement Management, Quality Manager (ISO 9001:2008 BSI) Sales Project management:-Analysing technical drawings and liaising with site engineers and procurement managers in order to help project manage works and develop a trusting relationship for future orders.Developing new business and acquiring future projects.Promoting and selling new products to existing & new businesses.Transport / Logistics duties include:- Responsible for 8 Drivers and Vehicles from Class 1, Class 2 and LGV. Analysing transport related costs, driver hours and working time directives.Scheduling deliveries and liaising with customers over dates and time slots.Ensuring vehicles are maintained correctly and legalisation is adhered to.Driver training. Designing and implementing the transport management system in order to keep the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) affective, current and in line with a successful yearly audit.Purchasing and designing new vehicles fit for purpose in an ever changing industry.Procurement duties include:-Developing good relations with suppliers in order to obtain the best prices and supply times.Stock Management and control.Responsible for the purchase of products and services in the organisation.Negotiating price lists and supply schedules. Approval of products and services for the company, including Utilities supply to the premises.Continually reviewing and analysing suppliers and their products and services.Approving purchase requests.Quality Management duties include:-Improving and developing the Quality Management System in order to safeguard the future of the business.Auditing and approving changes to the QMS.Meeting with BSI & UKAS on a yearly basis and guiding them through our QMS for re-certification.Keeping the QMS current and in line with ISO changes and guidelines. Developing procedures for new manufacturing processes.
