Lead software development teams in the development of new products and tools to aid the deployment and management of Positive Train Control and the GIS data products that support it.Lead engineer on the SpeedTrax GIS mapping system. SpeedTrax is a vehicle-mounted, unmanned system which provides for highly efficient collection of railroad right of way and asset location data with quality and accuracy that exceed the FRA requirements for Positive Train Control.Interface with clients in the rail industry to demonstrate applications of the SpeedTrax system, as well as provide support and expertise for Positive Train Control GIS applications.

Project lead for PTC Track Data projects. Managed a team of developers working on software tools to convert survey data for use by Wabtec's Positive Train Control system. Ensured that the software development process was followed through all stages of development. Primary customer contact for track data projects.Performed a key role in the development of the PTC Data Model specification as a member of the Interoperable Train Control (ITC) industry working group. The PTC Data Model specification defines a common database schema for exchanging track attributes and location data between railroads and service providers.Developed several software tools utilizing the ESRI ArcGIS platform. Developed system and software requirements, performed design work, and developed software components of the PTC locomotive segment and PTC office segment.
