Working for Streetspace Group under the Urbanspec brand I am currently in charge of the Construction Sales team. Supplying a variety of Street Furniture products into various sectors via Construction companies. Working to offer the complete service with quality manufactured products in our Kent based manufacturing facilities. We work closely with a variety of clients and have a range of modular Bin & Cycle Stores along with various Street Furniture items to suit all needs. We can also manufacture completely bespoke solutions to suit all requirements.

Currently I am in charge of looking after the sales team at Nova Lifts. This includes contract sales, major & minor sales and platform lifts. As well as looking after the day to day running of the sales team I am also contributing towards the company targets specialising in minor and major lift repairs.

In my current role I am responsible for the day to day management of key accounts within the company. Covering London and surrounding areas I manage a large and diverse portfolio of customers and tailor to various different needs. Our customers can vary from large housing associations to small care homes and even large shopping centres. Taking on pricing, selling and surveying my days can be varied and allow me to build upon my current skill set making me a more rounded employee. As well as repairs we also provide new lift installations and modernization's along with service contracts for all types of lifts on the market today.

My current role within Boon Edam is field sales in the security turnstile/speedgate and security door industry. Working with the Area Sales Manager it is my role to assist in achieving the sales targets set out for the London region. My main focus is on targeting smaller sub-contractors that we currently work with, as well as identifying new potential clients. In the London area we are presented with a vast opportunity for business growth, which with effective communication and team work will see us grow the area each year. My role is vital to the area in helping the company service every account to the same level and achieving this growth.

I am responsible for the estimating in London, South East and South West regions of the country for door and security systems. This entails receiving tenders via e-mail, post and over the phone. I then have to look through specifications and technical drawings to extract the required information to be able to produce a quotation for the correct specification. The quotations are then sent across to the customer and the information entered onto our CRM system. This role calls for an in depth technical knowledge and the ability to extract specifications from detailed drawings/NBS specifications. Good communication skills are essential to be able to liaise with customers if specifications are not clear on initial enquiries.

As part of the estimating team I was responsible for putting together quotes for the sales team. Taking information from various different sources to be able to price quickly and efficiently. Enquires would come in via e-mail, phone calls and tenders. These would then be analysed and priced for as required. Quotes would then be sent out and followed up shortly after with feedback recorded by the sales team.
