As a mental health tech I work with the Geri Psych acute care unit (ages 40 and older). I fixed errors that occur in the system regarding taxpayers' tax forms. These errors could be from transcribers (co-workers) or errors made by the taxpayer (math, information on the incorrect line of a form, etc.). Correct information sent to the IRS from employers (address, name of business, etc.). These records are from anywhere in the United States, both from taxpayers and employers.

Receive, evaluate, and process Amazon merchandise returns. I was also trained in problem-solving, which is looking further into a return that has issues (can't be found on that customer's list of purchases, etc).

As the lead, I assisted the supervisor with tasks coordinating the team on day-to-day issues or bigger projects that needed to be completed. Created PowerPoint presentations, attended/created/held meetings, and assisted the team when needed with the intaking/processing of in-lab sleep study authorization requests or high-tech radiology and genetic testing authorization requests that needed to be sent to our outside vendor.
