CurrentAdjunct Librarian, August 2024-presentInterim Department Head, March 2020-August 2024Manage UCF’s institutional repository, STARS, ensuring consistent access to digital collections as well as scholarly, creative, and research outputs of the university. Oversee the inception, production, and management of digital collections and digitization projects. Promote digital collections and repository services. Advise on issues of preservation and rights management pertaining to digital projects. Guide the establishment and implementation of digital accessibility policies, standards, and best practices for digital collections and repositories. Work with colleagues throughout the Libraries to develop a cohesive program and suite of services that support scholars engaged in creating, using, and disseminating scholarly materials in a wide range of digital media. Collaborate with technology and information science professionals to develop databases and portals for disseminating research. Collaborate with other librarians to develop strategies to raise the awareness of faculty, administrators, and students to the issues in the current system of scholarly publishing and options for creating change. Facilitate connections and partnerships of faculty and students with librarians and technologists in supporting digital scholarship and developing new research projects.Serve on various university and statewide committees related to digital initiatives.
