Provided material to win or retain business, and solve issues as they arose.Defined Sun’s then current and future system roadmaps to data centre managers involved in RFQ processes, Microsoft, Quest Communications, eBay, Pay-Pal and Stub-Hub amongst others.Drove the server industry towards more efficient power, by representing Sun in the Climate Savers initiative as a voting member, the US Environmental Protection Agency, ICF International, and the 80+ org. Worked with the 80+ group to define the first universal server power supply specifications before Climate Savers inception. This enabled businesses to strive towards reducing their carbon footprint, improving their credibility as green companies.Responsible for sixth sigma root cause analysis and all Tiger Team activities in stop ship situations at corporate level. Maintaining lost revenue to a minimum whilst driving corrective action at a design or production level and negotiations with large OEM’s recovering costs or damages.

Owner and creator of specifications for the power products in these servers.Responsible for design from conception to production.Main Tiger Team contact for Sun stop ship power issues, working with EM's to fault find, correct and rectify either design or production faults to keep the production line down for as short a time as possible.Worked with Samsung, Flextronics, Celestica and Mitac.

Responsibilities for all aspects of new and sustaining programs delivering products to defence customers on time and within budget. Roles included managing programs from design to production, managing design engineers, technicians, and CAD personnel. Provided sustaining support for older legacy products and line down technical issues reporting to MD and Chairman.Designed electronics for European Fighter Aircraft (Typhoon) still in production in 2016. Responsible for the design and production of a Nuclear Circumvention and Protection device, Identify Friend Or Foe systems and Radar Jamming Power for Aircraft, Sea based vessels and warfare equipment to protect electronics during war events including a nuclear event. Currently used on a large number of military aircraft and sea vessels. Redesigned legacy products to full nuclear event survival status and its implementation.

Designs for air force and navy, with and without nuclear circumvention techniques. Power supplies fitted to many aircraft and ships for MoD and DoD. Designed products for BAE, Vinten, Siemens Plessey and MoD. Key design activities, or design excellence in nuclear protection and using industrial pplastic packages to fulfil MoD cost cutting exercises in the move from hermetic components.
