I started paid full time work on 6th January 2014 after 8 weeks of unpaid experience work.Details:• Trusted with access to records of surgeons, clinics, patients and treatments• Ensuring work was ordered between 3 departments (Crown & Bridge, Orthodontics and Prosthetics)• Memorising the shorthand and technical terms needed in a dental laboratory when inputting data• Inputting data from labs sheets using specialised dental software• Creating marketing packs to send to potential clients e.g. cover letter, leaflet, price list• Taking over a large backlog of work in a new and pressurised environment• Organising models into a priority system• Taking study models, scanning them and uploading them to a server which could then be accessed by dentists from their clinic• Creating 3D digital models of teeth with a 3Shape scanner• Backing up work on an external hard drive and uploading the completed scans to a server• Contacting clients for any work we receive that is missing information• Creating and encrypting back ups of files and patient data for company purposes, dental practices as well as the dental board• Responsible for PAR (Peer Assessment Rating), rating and comparing the pre and post treatment of a patients teeth; this was largely self taught
