Reporting to the Head of Property, the role heads the Land Management Unit and provides direction, support and coaching to a team of Senior Property Officers, Property Officers and Facility Officers. The position has oversight for the delivery of the organisations strategic and corporate objectives involving leasing and land management. Directly responsible for management of the Land Management teams development and implementation of strategies and policies covering:-• Management and strengthening of Council's Commercial, Sporting, Community and Government Tenancy Portfolio's;• Development of strategies and programs for the management of Council's land holdings;• Financial portfolio analysis and development of budgets;• Negotiation of agreements and land transactions impacting Council owned and managed landholdings; as well as• Development and implementation of maintenance and asset renewal programs for tenanted facilities within the Sporting and Community Tenancy Portfolios.The position is accountable for resourcing and performance, project and program delivery, budget and financial planning, and the integrated performance reporting of the Land Management Team.

Reporting to the Director Infrastructure, the role provides leadership and coaching to a team of Property Analysts and Property Management Officers within the Property Services Service Unit. The position has oversight for the delivery of the organisations corporate objectives involving land and property. Directly responsible for management of the Service Unit’s development and implementation of strategies and policies covering:-• property and tenancy management;• land transactions;• financial analysis/feasibility studies; as well as • property development, divestment and re-investment opportunities. The position is accountable for resourcing and performance, project and program delivery, budget and financial planning, and the integrated performance reporting for the Property Services area.

Responsible for the development and delivery of strategic property projects identified within the organisations Strategic and Corporate Business Plans and Property Strategy, the role was directly responsible for the delivery of projects through the provision of financial, economic and social analysis of the organisations corporate projects involving property. As well as the preparation of business plans and recommendations for the sale, disposal, reinvestment and development projects within the property portfolio.

Reporting to the Coordinator Land and Property and responsible for direct property management of the City’s commercial and non-commercial property holdings. The role provides day to day management of the organisations tenancy portfolio by undertaking property inspections, developing, preparing and negotiating tenancy agreements, appraisals as well as implementing various land rationalisation programs.
