I utilized my background for four (4) years in China by conducting policy research on a Fulbright scholarship and assisting entrepreneurs with growing their businesses. I then furthered my pre-law background for over three (3) years while working closely with an American owner and Managing Partner of an international law firm as a motivated paralegal taking on legal projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. After moving back to the United States, I continue to consult on legal projects in Dubai and the U.S.I like to take projects head on. After working with a small firm, I am used to wearing many hats to deliver results. Memorable projects include:• Taking over a high-stakes real estate arbitration case after initial filing. I was responsible for researching relevant UAE laws and drafting all filings including the statement of claim, response and closing for the Managing Partner’s review and finalization. We increased our client’s initial request of approximately AED 600k to over AED 1 million and won. • Spearheading the firm’s registration with the Dubai International Financial Centre in order to provide our clients with an option to register their wills outside of Shari’a law requirements. • Acting as the lead for any incorporation project in offshore and free zone jurisdictions.I love making professional acquaintances.
