About Leigh Parsons

Leigh is the founder and managing director of business performance and transformation consulting firm, State of Matter. For almost 20 years, Leigh has helped his clients achieve better business outcomes through IT strategy and business advisory consulting. Leigh attended Monash University, where he acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management before embarking on an IT and consulting career, with key roles at Powercor, Logica and DWS. In 2006, Leigh joined CharterMason, a fledgling consulting company with an ambitious vision. By the time he left that company in 2015 it had grown to become a significant player in the consulting industry. Leigh founded State of Matter in 2016 and the company has gone from strength to strength in its first year of business. State of Matter’s growing client list includes some of Australia’s most challenging, demanding and complex organisations. The company is a business performance specialist, aimed at helping organisations design, manage and implement significant change.
