Howdy! My name is Leon Pham and I am a current student at Texas A&M University class of 2023. I am studying Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology and on the mechatronics track. I have a strong passion for robotics as well as any kind of mechanical and electrical manufacturing or design. This passions stems from my love of hands on work and 3D modeling using CAD software. The goals that I want to achieve is being able to create rovers or satellites for interstellar space travel or mechanical devices for space agencies. I interned at BioTex Inc. as a product development engineer last summer. At this company, I was tasked with creating new ways of manufacturing that would help decrease the use of funds and increase the efficiency of manufacturing different products. At this company I learned a lot about different management skills as well as communications skills while working in multiple different groups. I am also an officer for an organization, at Texas A&M University, known at the SASE (Society of Asian Scientist and Engineers). As an officer I am in charge of the logistical side of the organization. Being in the organization I was able to learn to manage different amounts of money and many organization skills. I was also able to meet and interact with may different students with different career goals and different backgrounds.
