CeoNocode Ltd / Nocode Inc / Zoom Interactive / Saron Systems 1996 - 2001Like many early Internet start-ups, Saron Systems started as 2 guys in a serviced office, experimenting with cool new technology whilst still holding down day jobs. Within 2 months we won our first major contract; to develop a Content Management System and website for Deloitte. Believed to be the first CMS site in Australia, the second .asp site in the world (the technology was still in beta), and at that time the largest private sector website in Australia (4,000+ pages), this deal resulted in a period of rapid growth. After a name change to Zoom Interactive, the business rapidly grew to become one of the leading development shops in Australia, recognised for our strong tech abilities. Shortly after the dot com bust I lead a successful angel investment round. This resulted in the launch of Nocode , a no code CMS/Website Builder/E-comm platform aimed at the web hosting business, and an expansion into the US market. Nocode was subsequently acquired by Powerlan.
