As part of the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES), I support strategic communications that promote the agency's mission to protect and enhance South Carolina's natural resources. I manage our social media presence and lead efforts to increase public awareness of key environmental initiatives through various channels, including digital media and public outreach.In collaboration with agency leadership and program areas, I help shape messaging and communication strategies, ensuring a consistent and impactful narrative. Additionally, I contribute to media relations as a Public Information Officer (PIO), assisting with external communications to keep the public informed about our work and its impact.
