Before launching Indy Maven + Maven Space, I worked as an award-winning writer, editor, and communications consultant specializing in lifestyle, entertainment, social media, travel, and more. After starting my career as a blogger, I moved into journalism, which included roles such as a columnist known as "The Adventuress" and things-to-do reporter for the Indianapolis Star, lifestyle editor at Indianapolis Monthly, and managing editor at AAA Crossroads magazine. In 2021, I was listed on the Forbes Next 1000, and in 2022, I was listed as one of the 250 Most Influential Leaders in Indiana by the Indianapolis Business Journal. I live on the northwest side of Indianapolis with my husband, three sons, and a big slobbery Bullmastiff.
