- Supervise 3 full-time staff members in case management, health promotion & education, and first generation student programming- Review and uphold policies and protocols, to include but not limited to: In/voluntary Medical Leave of Absence, Wellness Check protocol, Post Hospitalization protocol, policies on notifying faculty of student absences/illnesses, missing student protocol, guidance for Case Managers on advocacy for students requesting exceptions to academic policies- Provide 1-on-1 case management services to undergraduate and graduate students whose disruption to academic progress is caused by a broad range of difficulties- Chairs the University’s Behavioral Intervention Team, leading campus partners to provide a cohesive and comprehensive approach to case management for the University’s highest-risk students- Interpret and inform policy by identifying process/policy barriers to student success, working with relevant partner offices for student centered solutions- Provide and develop relevant training to campus community including faculty and staff around resources and support for students in distress- Leads and collaborates with campus partners to host weekly Behavioral Intervention Team meetings - Manage yearly budgets for functional areas including 3 student assistance funds, and departmental budgets - Prepare ad hoc reports, data requests and annual report for internal stakeholders- Led and developed first generation student programming including traditional First Friday Dinner workshops, pre-orientation program, and annual National First Generation Week celebration

- Met 1:1 with students initially and regularly to develop individual student success plans based ontheir unique circumstances and track their progress towards their personal and academic goals.- Collected, evaluated, and recorded all facts pertaining to student cases through the university system ofrecord.- Formulated intervention plans to enhance the academic success of students. -Connected and followed up with incoming students to ensure students have fulfilled all tasks and responsibilities prior to their arrival to Peabody.- Contact and collaborate with other Conservatory and University departments to expedite resolutionof problems.- Provided referrals to support services within the University as well as community agencies.- Coordinated and implemented mentoring programs for students in need of additional support.- Followed up and tracked prior cases to ensure student compliance with recommendations and adequate staff support for the student.- Coordinated and implemented ongoing disability accommodations and services for students.

- Oversaw the daily operations, facilities, case management, and programming for a configuration of upper-class residence halls (present) and four first year buildings (2016-2018) with over 1000 residents- Served in a 24/7 on-call duty rotation for crisis response for an on-campus student population of over 6500 students- Adjudicated and assigned educational sanctions for violations of the Housing Agreement and Code of Student Conduct- Managed and followed up to individual resident needs through one-on-one coaching and providing further campus referrals as a member of GW’s CARE network- Responded to escalated behavioral interventions in the halls focused on civility, which include one-on-one conversations between staff and residents to address behavioral issues, mediate conflicts, and facilitate conversations• Built and maintained partnerships within the University to enhance the student experience including Student Support, Health Services, Student Success, Facilities, etc.

- Served as a club adviser for 27 undergraduate clubs and publication groups- Provided assistance in data collection and organization for undergraduate programming for 1,300 students- Collaborated and actively participated in committees for Columbia University's Voting Week events, SEAS Dean Travel Fund, Activism Series, and the King's Cross Leadership Awards

- Served full time in a 3rd grade classroom for an academic year as a tutor, mentor and role model for 27 students - Provided attendance, behavior and course performance support through the development of whole school and class initiatives through collaboration with other team and corps members - Participated in professional development trainings in education, non-profit management and leadership

- Provided paraprofessional advising for 26 undergraduates each semester for a residence hall wing- Developed programs on diversity, personal development, relationships, security, and academic performance for 200 undergraduates in the building- Collaborated with other staff members to host monthly focus projects in the residence hall, including developing art and well-being programs for the building

- Planned and taught 2 classes of service-learning and a singing elective to 14-16 year old ESL learners- Managed a committee of 6 other teachers to plan a special event for a group of 100+ students
