I've been designing and building things for as long as I can remember. When I was 10, I prototyped an automatic chicken feeder out of Legos for our 200 chickens. And when I was 15, my brother and I built a working RC car out of Legos. When I registered for classes my first semester, I picked mechanical engineering because I heard it was a good career, but when I started talking classes and talking to other engineers, I realized that designing new products was what I WANT to do!-Mechanical Engineering Intern | CNC Machine Operation - Operated CNC saws, saved material by running custom programs to eliminate remnant material.-Heavy Equipment Operator | Operated trackhoes, skidsteers, loaders, and haul-trucks to provide underground utilities to multi-million dollar custom homes.Prototyping is my jam. I want to spend my time developing new ideas, testing the limits, and pursuing perfection. I live by the moto that failure is only when you stop trying.Most of my hobbies involve being outside. I enjoy mountain biking (the more downhill the better), hiking cool canyons with my wife, and camping. I am also a sucker for classical literature and the theater.I've used pretty much every word-working tool out there except for a biscuit joiner (if you have one I'd love to borrow it, I've got some projects I could use it for). Other skills include: Microsoft Excel, SolidWorks, Additive Manufacturing (3d Printing), Excavation Equipment, Plumbing, CNC Operation, Manual Lathe, Manual Endmill.
