Report Officer
Currenta subject matter expert in regards to current trends in drug trafficking, terrorism, and other illicit activities for a specific region of the world. Triage daily reporting to identify which reports contain pertinent intelligence. Write IIRs based off identified intelligence to share with the DoD Community. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with Field Intelligence Managers and Field Office Analysts in order to coordinate the sharing of intelligence and the publication of the IIRs. Fulfill Requests for Information (RFI) from various agencies and DoD major commands.Duties a. Assembles, collates, analyzes, and interprets raw intelligence and investigative data from a multitude of internal and external sources. b. Prepares reports in line with policies and procedures outlined by the supported organization and the Intelligence Community.c. Demonstrates a high proficiency in English in both reading and writing.d. Be willing to travel as needed.e. Has knowledge and experience of professional US Government IIRs, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.f. Understands and comprehends National Level HUMINT collection requirements. g. Able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.h. Assists in unit recruiting and retention activities.i. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
