CurrentOversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of the association’s flagship admission requirements website, guidebook, and resources for learners, undergraduate pre-health advisors, and the 158 US and 13 Canadian constituent medical schools. Creator and director of the association’s annual virtual medical school fair. Supervises subordinate staff and colleagues to create resources for applicants from communities historically underrepresented in medicine. Manages a portfolio of pre-med and applicant resources to inspire and guide applicants so that they can make informed, strategic decisions about when and where to apply to medical school. Created, developed, and manages:• AAMC Virtual Medical School FairsSince, 2015, created and executed at least two virtual fairs annually: application during and after the pandemic, guidance for nontraditional and gap applicants, and resources for racial and ethnic minority applicants, typically with thousands of registrants, attendees, and averaging 90-100 participating schools, associations, and student organizations, and information sessions. Our fairs have been attended by nearly 100,000 viewers. The fairs have featured a lounge to interact with current medical students, a room for guidance from subject matter experts and a wellness studio with guided meditation, yoga, and nutrition tips.To further connect and empower learners, coordinated and collaborated on a new virtual hall staffed by representatives from the Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA), the Association of Native American Medical Students (ANAMS), Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA), Mentoring in Medicine, the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), and the Tour4Diversity.
