I’m an experienced general counsel and executive corporate counsel with 20+ years of expertise in managing various corporate legal and operational functions and providing strategic advice for public and privately held companies in the automotive industry spanning all areas, including dealership, manufacturer/distributor, auto/consumer finance (purchase and lease), commercial finance, rental car/fleet, ancillary product (service contracts, extended warranty, insurance, protection products), and SaaS/technology (online marketplace, digital retail, credit solutions).Currently, I serve as the Senior Director, Legal (Digital Retail, Regulatory, & Compliance) for CarGurus, the most visited automotive research and shopping website in the US, providing strategic legal support for various digital retail initiatives.Before joining CarGurus, I was General Counsel for Open Dealer Exchange, a technology hub focused on transforming the automotive F&I workflow. Previously, I was General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Corporate Secretary for Auto Trakk, a leading indirect sub-prime motor vehicle leasing company and served as legal counsel and the Director of Regulatory Compliance for GSFSGroup in Houston, TX.
