Responsibilities:Aid in the standardisation of Information Security management practices (e.g., access management) across RMITProvide support for the creation and management of IT policies, including their communication and roll out across RMITHelp develop the Information Security Awareness & Education program, across students and staffLearn and understand authoritative advice and consultation on matters of Information Security risk and compliance issuesAid in the performance of periodic IS / IT compliance reviews / reporting of operating environment (e.g., network, platform, database, application) to determine compliance to RMIT policy and standards, including industry good practicesGain an understanding of how Enterprise Risk, Procurement, Internal Audit & Compliance identify compliance baselines from legislative requirements and corporate objectivesAssume a supportive role when contributing to different IS initiatives across CISO and ITSProvide support to Operation / remediation teams with the configuration of Information Security controls across the operating environmentAid in the enhancement of the active monitoring capability of cybersecurity environmental threats; including periodic cyber technical compliance reporting of our operating environmentDevelop a timeline based IDM dashboard that shows various identity parameters of 500,000+ accounts managed by the University using open source big data platformDesign, implement and present a monthly vulnerability reporting dashboard which provides a template for live updates for ease of reporting vulnerabilities across all gold and silver applications within the University

The Marketing and Recruitment Assistant is a member of the Student Recruitment and Info Corner teams. I was responsible for supporting team members to actively promote RMIT programs to future students through enquiries (email, phone and face to face), campus tours and presentations, school and career expos and the Tertiary Information Service (TIS).I supported administrative processes and procedures and worked on small projects under the leadership of the Student Recruitment and Info Corner teams.It was important that I was customer focused with the ability to work as a member of a team along with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. Furthermore I demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and willingness to undertake public speaking.
