Epiminder is developing the Minder system that captures EEG 24/7 and delivers previously unseen data to physicians for the treatment and management of epilepsy.I help develop software for the Minder system - including backend and frontend products, data pipelines and platforms, and machine learning systems. My work includes- Gathering requirements and designing solutions for the Minder system. Developing and deploying software applications.- Ensuring compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485 and FDA regulations where applicable.- Designing and developing robust ML models for seizure and epileptiform detection.

As an Independent Contractor for 3 months, I delivered a research report discussing the EEG signal processing methods that both- lead to clinical insights for the treatment and management of epilepsy- allow a reasonable regulatory strategy for the business.This research involved interviews with doctors, literature search, experimentation with existing software, and hacking together my own examples of signal processing methods. My report gave direction to the software team on where to take future product development.
