I am a multi-skilled Maintenance Technician with over 20 years experience in engineering. I joined NMUK in 2001 as a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, qualifying as a Technician in 2006. During that time i have been based in both the Paint shop and also the Trim & Chassis department, which is where i currently work.I have worked with Siemens S7, TIA Portal and Omron PLC systems and have also worked with SEW drives. I have worked with Fanuc robots, and am currently an operators assessor on site. My day to day duties include working with a variety of machines in Electrical and Mechanical fields, such as Pneumatics, Hydraulics, PLC systems, HMI's, Conveyors, Robots, Vahle loops, Profinet/Bus systems, Fluid filling systems and adhesive applications. I am able to work within high pressure scenarios to reduce line downtime with temporary repairs, implement follow up actions with breakdown reduction countermeasures, while always adhering to strict health and safety rules and regulations. Training apprentices is another of my duties within NMUK.
