I have been trained at a very high standard to be the best possible customer service assistant at M&S. I am in a learning game with me only just coming into the retail sector. Firstly I was on an unpaid work programme called 'Make your Mark' which was funded by princes trust. Within this course I was placed in Marks and Spencer's in the Stockton store on the high street, at first I was unhappy that it was out of my comfort zone as I didn't know Stockton at all as I'm living in Middlesbrough but with in a few days I jelled quickly to M&S staff and popular customers which makes me happy to come to work and enjoy it. From my knowledge and training, I know a lot about being a customer service assistant from size tidying to mainting stock levels checking which is live and which stock is not live using Microsoft Excel. I spend a lot of time on the cashiers and customer ordering and collecting point. I know how to put the stock in our warehouse in to the items correct place and if I can't find the items within the warehouse, I do find something very similar to the item and place it with them. My responsibility at M&S is too look after menswear, where I will tidy up, move stock around, take pre sale off the sales floor to get it prepared and also replace it with newer items. I am also responsible for checking live stock and none live stock.
