Built & led the EU packaging team under the Incident Prevention pillar for supply chain & operations. The team guided the global incidents and returns prevention team, fulfilment centres, and the wider business with clear market related requirements, enabled scalable solutions to improve supplier & supply chain performance, and led opportunities to improve bottom line for Wayfair. ► Grew team to >5 people incl. several promotions within the team and preparation of future expansion plans in office and field functions.► Built a vendor management program with several 3rd parties enabling packaging support & initiatives for supplier engagement in the EU and Asia from guidelines & warehouse visits to full ecommerce ready packaging designs.► Defined and implemented the overpack strategy & installation of several automated machines in our UK & Germany fulfilment centres for small & large parcel items. ► Led the company wide packaging sustainability efforts, owning & reporting against the packaging targets set, implementing plastic free material packing stations in our UK & German fulfilment centres.► Introduced a global ecommerce packaging methodology working with ISTA and other 3rd party vendors
