My Philosophy:Having lived the lifestyle of a professional cyclist for a decade, I understand what it takes to be an elite athlete. From the age of 17, I moved to Belgium, travelled the world, worked with people of many different cultures, and immersed myself in the sport. From the beginning of my professional career, I've had a keen interest in understanding sports physiology and data analytics. I have a very inquisitive mind and continually strive to read and understand the latest research to further improve my coaching skills. In 2020 I enrolled at university to advance my scientific knowledge, alongside running my business.I understand that there's far more to coaching than the prescription of training. It's my philosophy that coaching is a partnership with the rider. Many factors, such as technique, phycology and nutrition, need to be examined to progress the athlete. Each rider will have specific strengths and weaknesses which need consideration alongside the demands of the event. It's my job as a coach to bridge the gap between the rider’s current performance level and their goals.
