I would consider myself as an enthusiastic, and committed individual who strives to improve and enable people to live meaningful lives with the skills that I have obtained through my experience as an occupational therapist. I enjoy communicating and assisting others in solving problems and identifying areas for improvement, this had lead me to becoming the 3rd year rep of my cohort at the University of Salford. I am looking forward to utilising the skills and knowledge that I have gained from university, clinical placements and from practice to enable people to achieve life satisfaction and a higher quality of life through the use of occupational therapy as an occupational therapist. I have worked within a variety of sectors ranging from forensic mental health settings to rehabilitation in which i have developed further insight in to service structure and development within these settings and had the opportunity to see the value and importance of occupational therapy input and service focus.
