The Wodgina lithium operation is located approximately 120km south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.As one of the world’s largest known hard rock lithium deposits, this asset forms part of an unincorporated joint venture between MinRes (50%) and leading battery chemicals producer Albemarle Corporation (50%).MinRes manages all mining operations at Wodgina, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant featuring three trains each with a capacity of 250,000 tonnes of 6% spodumene product.Spodumene produced at Wodgina is transported by road to Port Hedland for export to global markets.

Onslow Iron project is one of the largest iron ore projects currently under development in Australia. Located in the west Pilbara region of Western Australia. Glencore Coal Assets Australia Pty Ltd Projects team at Mangoola Coal Continued Operations Project, Mangoola NSW.The State Significant Development (SSD) 8642 approval provides for the continuation of open cut mining immediately north of our existing mine at Mangoola Coal Operations. This will enable Glencore to extract a further 52 million tonnes of coal through to the end of 2030.

Environmental Lead for construction activities associated with the Cadia East Gold/Copper Project - Modification 14 approval. CPB has joined Newcrest in an Alliance to undertake construction works on the Northern Tailings Storage Facility (NTSF) and Southern Tailings Storage Facility (STSF) including:• Changes to wall construction designs of the NTSF and STSF embankments and associated disturbance;• Implementation of NTSF repair works to restore the embankment by encapsulation of the slumped section; and• Construction of centreline lifts at the NTSF and STSF embankments in response to the findings of the Independent Technical Review Board’s investigation into the NTSF slump.

New South Wales Regional RailCIMIC Group companies Pacific Partnerships, UGL and CPB Contractors, as part of the Momentum Trains consortium, are delivering the $1.26 billion Regional Rail Project as a design, build, finance and maintain contract. The consortium will deliver a new regional rail fleet and a new maintenance facility in Dubbo, New South Wales. CIMIC Group has led the consortium’s development of the project, with Pacific Partnerships providing leadership and equity financing for the contract term. CPB Contractors will design, construct and commission the maintenance facility at Dubbo, whilst UGL will maintain both the fleet of 117 rail cars and the maintenance facility.The project will generate revenue to CIMIC Group of approximately $725 million over the construction and initial 15-year maintenance term.

The Moolarben Coal Complex (MCC) is located approximately 40km north of Mudgee in the Western Coalfields of New South Wales. Operating 24 hours a day, the MCC comprises four approved open cut mining areas (OC1 to OC4), three approved underground mining areas (UG1, UG2 and UG4) and other mining related infrastructure. Mining operations at the MCC are currently approved until 31 December 2038 and would continue to be carried out in accordance with Project Approval (05_0117) as modified and Project Approval (08_0135) as modified.Moolarben Coal Operations Pty Ltd (MCO) is currently investigating options to extend the current open cut operations at the MCC. Baseline studies have commenced in two study areas within existing tenements, to inform consideration of:1. Extending OC3 south within EL6288 and EL7073; and2. Extending OC4 east within ML1715.The full scope of the Project is being developed and will be informed by further baseline environmental studies, technical studies and engagement with key stakeholders, including Government agencies and the community.My role involved supporting the MCO E&C Manager and Yancoal Corporate Team to undertake mining operations under statutory approvals and Licence to Operate obligations. A key focus of my role is project managing the studies being undertaken for the MCC Open Cut Extension Projects.

The Hera Mine is a polymetallic underground mining operation and associated 450ktpa processing plant, located approximately 100km south-east of Cobar, NSW. My role involved supporting the Hera Mine Management Team to undertake mining operations under statutory approvals and Licence to Operate obligations that are part of the Mine’s Project Approval conditions required as part of a State Significant Development (SSD).

The McPhillamys Gold Project is a greenfield open cut gold mine where up to 8.5 Mtpa of ore will be extracted over a total mine life of 15 years, located approximately 20km west of Bathurst, NSW. Regis is seeking SSD consent under Part 4 of the EP&A Act 1979 and assessed and approved under the EPBC Act 1999 as a controlled action to develop and operate the project. My role involved supporting the Regis Project Team and consultants to undertake thorough technical assessments of all potential environmental and social impacts associated with the project.

Glencore Coal Assets Australia Pty Ltd approvals teams at Mt Owen Continued Operations project and the United/Wambo Joint Venture.Mt Owen Continued Operations Project, Ravensworth NSWMt Owen Complex is located within the Hunter Coalfields at Hebden in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, approximately 25km northwest of Singleton, and 26km southeast of Muswellbrook. I was in the Projects Team that acquired approval of the Mt Owen Continued Operations Project in 2016 which allows mining to continue until 2032.United Wambo Joint Venture Open Cut, Warkworth NSWThe United Wambo Joint Venture Open Cut mine is located 16km west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. I was in the Projects Team that acquired approval of the United Wambo Open Cut Coal Mine Project in 2019 which allows mining until 2042.
