Wrapped up my Mechatronics Engineering degree at the University of Newcastle in 2022. I aspire to one day be working on the cutting edge of technology, making a genuine impact on the people and the world around me. Throughout my studies and personal passion projects, I have developed many software skills in coding languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C, C++ and Lua. As well as mechanical skills involving CAD Design, 3D Printing, Circuit Design and Manufacturing. These projects range from Uni based challenges such as constructing a 2 Wheeled Balancing Robot or more personal projects such as crazy Computer Shenanigans within Minecraft's vast modifiable sandbox.In 2022, I completed my Final Year Project within the University of Newcastle as part of NU Marine, a team which participates in the bi-yearly RobotX Competition. As part of this project, I was tasked with handling Computer Vision and Navigation on an automated maritime system. This project allowed me to delve into the world of computer vision and machine learning, studying concepts such as Convolutional Neural Networks and applying them in the areas of object identification and object tracking which allowed the team's vehicle to complete certain challenges using the best information possible.As of 2023, I have stepped out into the world and am currently working as a Graduate Engineer within BAE Systems Australia. With extraordinary opportunities for learning and growth, I am extremely excited to continue my journey in the years to come!
