Supply Chain Intern
CurrentThis internship is a very broad scale of operations. From Excel and data analytics to communications with various departments in the field. I have taken control of ordering paint for the direct team, but mainly base myself in the indirect team with PPE and RPE project, equipment orders, data handling and analysis, along with trialling and feedback of new material used in the factory on a day to day basis. The direct team allow me to order paint, ensure invoices and receipts have been reviewed and received at the appropriate time. As i continue to work at Siemens Gamesa, i begin to become more independent but also understand that teamwork is a necessity in any industry one participates in. This has allowed to run calls online and in person, public speaking to unknown individuals, suppliers and colleagues, which have now been made into vital contacts and relationships for my development and the company itself.
