Rubicon Theatre Company is a nonprofit professional regional theatre company whose mission is to entertain, enrich and educate the region’s residents and visitors through the production of innovative professional theatrical productions, festivals, special events, and education programs.As Development Associate, I helped maintain the company's financial support during the suspension of in-person performances due to COVID-19. I wrote grants resulting in a 30% year-over-year increase in giving from foundations and corporations, along with the landmark Shuttered Venue Operators Grant from the US Small Business Administration. I also spearheaded prospect and wealth management research to strategically solicit major gifts and managed the 30-year donor and gift history database. In addition, I composed marketing copy and donor communications, prepared reports for the Board of Directors, developed relationships with new individual and institutional funders, and coordinated logistics for VIP amenities at a drive-in concert series (all while working remotely from halfway across the country).

I also managed the script database and wrote coverage for new plays and musicals.Additionally, I assisted playwrights and tracked script changes during rehearsals for world premiere plays. I project-managed internal and public-facing events and performances featuring guest artists, including a week-long workshop featuring a cast of professional actors and Princeton University students performing a new musical in development by a Tony Award-winning composer (which premiered off-Broadway in 2024). I also provided administrative and logistics support for a week-long artists' retreat in Princeton.
