Full Stack developer, responsible for the design, development and support of digital content management workflows and web application development for EDML’s Television playout services.Primary task has been the design, development and support of the web interface and background worker scripts for an in-house bespoke media asset management system (Emam), which has enabled internal operations staff and external clients the ability to view, validate, interrogate, edit and export delivered playout schedules.

Overseeing the day to day running of Disney, Sony and Channel 5 playout suites, MCR, Ingest and VOD.Reporting to the Playout Operations Manager and responsible for ensuring the continuity of output from EDM, through ingest, playout and MCR, managing incidents and implementing recovery procedures and arrangements.

Working in a freelance capacity for numerous clients, fulfilling a variety of roles primarily in digital file based media environments from VT operations to ingest and senior transmission control.Key elements of my roles over this period include Database & Application development, Transmission Control, (experienced using both digital and tape automation systems), Logistics (overseeing file transfer operations, correction of transfer error issues and channel schedule management), Media Ingest Technician, VT Operator in both Studio play-out (live & pre-record) and Machine Room (dubbing & conversion), QC, Camera Operator, Focus Puller and Camera Assistant.Clients include - Encompass Digital Media Ltd, MTV Europe, Comedy Central, Paramount Comedy, Nickelodeon, Showtime and Ascent Media.
