In this capacity, I oversee Operations and Corporate Services supporting approx. 221 staff members who support an annual revenue stream of $32 million. I provide strategic leadership to shape the future of the organisation and ensure financial sustainability. Leading the implementation of pivotal ICT projects, skilfully manage and allocate resources for a $2.1 million contract aimed at delivering youth diversionary programs and intensive case management to Indigenous youth at risk. I provide indispensable assistance to the CEO and Deputy CEO in fulfilling both financial and non-financial reporting obligations to the Board and Office of Registrar of Indigenous Organisations. I directed teams of 50 - 100 members and usually five direct reports, managing a revenue portfolio exceeding $50 million. My responsibilities included overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring processes for multiple leaders, ensuring the maintenance of robust HR and safety practices. I established performance structures that led to the promotion of five leaders within six months. Through strategic initiatives, I achieved a $250,000 inventory cost reduction in six months while maintaining service quality and revenue. I spearheaded Indigenous recruitment initiatives in collaboration with the Indigenous Advisor, executed strategic plans consistently to ensure optimal business performance, and demonstrated exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, I managed contracts and projects, ensuring their efficient execution and completion, while prioritising store compliance and safety according to ACCC and internal standards. I initiated various projects to foster business growth and innovation, cultivated commercial growth through strategic relationship management and resource allocation, and engaged in community activities to enhance brand presence. Furthermore, I led health, safety, and environmental initiatives to uphold employee and customer well-being, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the organisation.

I led a team of 1300+ employees and 10 direct reports across 10 locations, managing an annual revenue portfolio of $500 million. By implementing customer service strategies, I successfully increased customer satisfaction during my time in the role, demonstrating my commitment to enhancing the customer experience. In addition, I developed and executed strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, and maintained key stakeholder relationships to achieve strategic objectives. Apart from these, I provided guidance to store leaders on complex issues, managed Profit and Loss, authorised payments, and oversaw procurement activities. My role also involved interpreting and developing policies to enhance operational efficiency and compliance, conducting coaching, performance management, and appraisals for senior leaders, and leading health, safety, and environmental initiatives to prioritise employee and customer well-being. I facilitated development programs for talent acquisition and leadership advancement, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organisation.
