I'm a Ph.D. candidate of Economics at the University of Zurich, specializing in Econometrics and Applied Econometrics. My doctoral research focuses on nonlinear models for panel data. I derived a new conditional logit estimator to serially correlated binary outcomes and proposed a new statistical test for overdispersion in binomial fixed effects to fractional responses.From years of systematic training and research in Econometrics, I have a very solid knowledge background in statistics and mathematics. It is always my passion to understand and apply quantitative methods that can solve real-world problems. Moreover, I acted as a teaching assistant at an interesting big data seminar to further immerse myself in concrete applications. This seminar covered most machine learning topics ranging from regression trees, lasso to deep learning topics, etc., and provided hands-on experiences with big data in Switzerland. I've honed my Python and R skills while helping students with complex datasets. I'm an extrovert person, good at communicating with students and colleagues. Currently, I'm looking for data scientist and quantitative researcher positions in both private sectors and economic institutions, also very open to other opportunities to further explore my potential.
