WHY DO I BELIEVE IN THE VALUE OF COACHING?• Coaching helps people get out of their own way. I’ve yet to see someone not succeed because they lack role-specific expertise or intellect. The obstacles hide in the murky space between one’s ears, the choices that aren’t recognized as choices.• Everybody needs a safe place to pause, to think the unthinkable. In the words of a recent client, “Coaching forced me to talk about the things I didn’t want to talk about.”• By building organizations where individuals contribute from their best selves, we are creating a foundation for a stronger world. Yes, I really believe this.WHAT IS MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY?• I believe that every individual has the capacity to be great, and as a result to contribute to the success of their organization. The coaching relationship provides:o SPACE. The permission to intentionally work toward personal growth in a way that aligns with organizational and personal goals.o SELF-AWARENESS. An understanding of one’s strengths and blind spots, coupled with a willingness to be challenged. o ACCOUNTABILITY. The regular accountability to experiment with new behaviors, and sustain successful ones.WHAT DO I BRING TO THE COACHING RELATIONSHIP? • CURIOSITY. One client commented, “Linda was able to ask the questions and provide me the assignments that brought me out of my comfort zone and really provided me an opportunity to look at myself from a different viewpoint, perhaps the viewpoint of what others see.”• COMPASSION. Personal growth is the work of warriors. Kindness is essential.• JOY. Victories must be recognized and celebrated.• EXPERIENCE. For 20+ years, I’ve had the privilege of inspiring thousands of individuals from Fortune 500 companies to achieve their career goals.• QUALIFICATIONS.
