About Lindsay Dawson

Innovator. Marketer. Storyteller. Collaborator. Uplift-er.A proud West Virginia native, I moved to the PNW in 2017 in pursuit of...my story that's still unfolding. On my personal and professional journey since even before then, I've grown to embrace the curiosity deep within me, pursue solutions that are inclusive and equitable to all around me, and lead from my source of love and empathy often-excluded in the corporate culture of today. I am made of those things...and a bit of playfulness as well! (Your girl loves to crack a joke or bust a move.)It is my creative spirit and an intuitive soul that drive my passion to inspire audiences (read: C-Suite, Partners, Sales, Marketing, customers, clients, peers, teammates, etc.) through an authentic connection. --From non-profit storytelling to theatre production to tech marketing...--From content strategy to brand definition to partner enablement...I set authentic, accessible, compelling connection as my metric of success. I believe it is this combination of humanity and strategy that instigates change and drives action, regardless of B2B, C2C, or H2H.*///My work as an Associate Director and channel consultant is only as effective as the joy received from and time devoted to my passions beyond the corporate 9-5. --In July 2022, I launched my Self-Love and Empowerment Life Coaching business, Lindsay Channa Life Coaching, to help women liberate the most beloved version of themselves. --I unapologetically serve as dog mom to the sweetest Mini Australian Shepherd, Lynk. --I sing as the founding soprano in a Seattle-based, semi-professional a cappella group, "Puget Sound Company;" our first album will be released Fall 2022! --I am a loud and proud Type 1 Diabetic of nearly 20 years, which makes my love of hiking, biking, camping, and adventuring both complex and rewarding. We're talkin' the full gamut of "Fun" types. --I discovered The Great British Baking Show at the start of the global pandemic. So naturally, I now bake! (And apparently, if we are friends and you ask me very nicely, I will make you a wedding cake. I'm 2-for-2.)*Human-to-human. Cause we're all just people, looking for connection and doing our best.

I help women explore and unearth the most beloved version of themselves. To embark on a journey of curiosity, choice, and liberation. One that is real. Messy. Personal. Bare. Abundant. The most beloved version of ourselves is the real one—open, transparent, giving. Beautiful by simply existing and bold in its command for the space to be.I started this work for two reasons: To honor the there-are-no-words level of inspiration from and for the women in my life. And to use the powerful liberation and cracking-wide-openness of my own journey to help women like them. Like you.Together, let’s explore what’s within you and what awaits you. Let’s explore your most beloved self.

Graduate Assistant

Arts & Entertainment
2013 - May 2014

Integrated Marketing Graduate Student

As an Integrated Marketing Communications graduate student, I am learning how to integrate various marketing concepts into a productive marketing mix to productively promote a product, idea, person, or business. A successful marketing mix creates a constant flow of information from giver to receiver, from business to consumer, which establishes an open dialogue between both parties, and ultimately, a highly interactive engagement with customers. The IMC program is teaching me how to use the multiple means of marketing i.e. direct marketing, brand management, social media integration, digital marketing, creative strategy, public relations, etc. to better understand and reach, retain, and satisfy target audience members. The online platform of this program offers a unique learning experience; the program is known for its flexibility, and therefore, the diversity of its students. Through this program, I am interacting with people from all over the globe, from all walks of life, and with an extremely wide range of educations, careers, and experiences. This program is extremely valuable to me, as I can learn from the esteemed faculty, but also, from the advice, wisdom, and experience of other students. My M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications will be complete in May of 2014.

This show is a piece of theatre that has recently traveled to the United States from its home in Scotland. This work is produced by the Stop the Silence: Stop Child Sexual Abuse charity, and is a program used by the international organization to raise awareness for the cause. Marketing Intern

West Virginia Public Theatre

Morgantown, Wv

Though I worked as a box office staff member for a few summer seasons at WVPT, I spent one summer doing box office AND a full-time marketing internship. I worked from May to August, and weekly designed and electronically submitted print ads for 7 different state-wide newspapers. I submitted press releases to marketing “friends” statewide, documented and recorded all marketing media, including print ads, reviews, articles and promotions, and organized and submitted supplies to local news station to create PSAs for each of 7 productions. That summer, we had taken up shop in a new venue, the Morgantown Event Center, so I coordinated and executed tours of theatre venue. I worked on a few side projects for the producer, and raised $11,200 from late May to mid-June in ad sales for the show bill.
