As a current student at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business, I look forward to applying the knowledge I've gained to the real world. I am passionate about business therefore I'm in the right path to obtain my Bachelor in Business Administration by 2010. My concentration is in Marketing with a minor in Communications. Having the opportunity to take classes in both the business school and journalism school allows me to focus on my areas of interest: Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, and Mass Media. To pursue my interests, I've been actively engaged in the University's community. This past year I was involved in Women’s Water Polo, Women in Business, American Marketing Association, and volunteered at Birth to Three (a local non-profit organization). This year I plan to focus on Women in Business and American Marketing Association, which gives me experience in the area of work I would like to enter. My goal for the rest of junior year is to find the best niche of business that I want to focus on and have an internship this upcoming summer with the ideal company. This will help me line up the right job when I graduate.
