I took some time to provide care and support for my family and my father during the last year of his life, and to re-structure my work, so that I have a more balanced and healthy life.

A media arts and education organization that I co-founded in 2002. Over a 5-year period, I trained and led teams of artists to work with youth in the north Texas region to create over 6,000 student media projects, where we facilitated learners to think critically about media, and to create original movies, web pages and podcasts, based on their school curriculum. Student projects were part of a national program, the Mobile Learning Initiative, sponsored by the Pearson Foundation.Strategic partnerships included the Pearson Foundation, Young Audiences of Greater Dallas, Dallas and Irving Independent School Districts, Obadiah Knight Elementary (and a spectacular Talented & Gifted teacher, Janet Carman), the Dallas Museum of Art and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. I wrote grants, designed media arts curriculum aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, and developed training manuals and support materials. In addition I produced and directed a Video Master Class series that featured Dallas Symphony musicians for Studio DSO, a website geared for young adults on a classical music career track.

Over 35 years of experience as producer, director, writer and voice actor for commercials, marketing videos and interactive training modules for power, automotive, aircraft and publishing industries, as well as community, arts, and education organizations.

Learning facilitator, learning designer and program administration for media arts and media literacy programs for K-12 and adults. Recast adult training programs to outcome-based learning and reconfigured all support materials.
