A playful interview podcast in Spanish and English for listeners who live their lives in both languages, or just want to practice. We talk with notable bilingual human beings about topics we want to understand better – child poverty, gun violence, and maternal mortality, for example – or lighter fare such as Mexican donuts, bartending, and beekeeping. Our guests have included World Central Kitchen’s José Andrés, Money Heist's Alba Flores, Univisión's Enrique Acevedo, musicians David Broza and Lau Noah, and more. Established study abroad program focusing on environmental reporting in Costa Rica. Five-week summer program is based in Heredia, Costa Rica and includes field reporting trips to important ecological sites in the Central Valley, Pacific and Caribbean.
